where to Start

Hi,

         This is what I did when I thought that, I need to do something serious with my DSLR or Simple I wanted to be a pro overnight but it was not possible. So later I understood the reality and did the following. I hope when u read this blog as a beginner this blog will help u to know how.

         Yes, who am I and with what qualification I help u to be a pro. I do accept I am not a pro.
          
          A winner - can say how he succeeded 
                                     
                                    But,
          
            A loser - can say how not to loose.

Here we go,

Steps -

Find people of ur interest (i.e. Photography), This suits for all aspects.

           Its a creative job so each one of us have different ideas so when u get into group u will know a lot about it, discussions bring in a lots of idea. U can find people thats real pros in FB, Blog, twitters any social network and you can find experts like :).

Get to Know The Technical Terms

         You do this even before you get with your friends or people of same interest in groups bcos u will not wander when the use techi terms, for this u can go with some ebooks on photography or youtube as i said before its an awesome choice.

Use them

        When u learn about different terms u can also  make use of them, That’s about ur dial study. I am speaking about the rotator in ur camera which u use to shift modes, this is where you get to know about ur camera. you might have used the diff modes but knowing their purpose and using them is diff.

Same Shot in Diff Modes

       Take a single shot in same lighting with diff modes and later compare them with each other; this will give u a better understanding of the modes (I state here plainly as modes just to begin with).

Spend Time

       When u really want to know about it spend sometime with your camera I am sure it will be your best buddy in a short course of time. Carry ur cam to the nearest outdoor spot and click pics of ppl at home.

What’s your area

         As far as I know about photography the basic category of photography is LANDSCAPE AND PORTRAIT.

Landscape – Its generally the scenery, sorry even I am not clear about this please google it.

Portrait – I am good in this thus I know what it is, any close shot that express the feeling is called a portrait eg-Marriage couples candid photography.
